Carnelos asks E.M. about Jack’s bar.
E.M. confirms she was having fun there, and she was drunk and dancing.
One of the players (court previously heard it was Dubé) picked her up on the dance floor and spun her around. Court has seen video of E.M. jumping into his arms and straddling him.
She says she doesn’t remember Dubé and McLeod getting into a playful fight on the dance floor after that.
“You were smiling during the dancing,” Carnelos says to E.M.
“I think so, from the video,” E.M. replies. (She previously said she doesn’t really have a great memory of the bar.)
“You were laughing. It was funny,” Carnelos says.
“Right. I was fine at the bar,” E.M. says.
It was what allegedly happened after, in the Delta hotel, that is at issue at this trial.
